Dr Tom Ryan

Tom is a researcher interested in disability and family, specifically sibling relationships. Tom's PhD explored counter-narratives of siblinghood and learning disability, with a focus on affirmative approaches to this. He is currently undertaking an NIHR School for Social Care funded research project around care transitions and sibling relationships in later life for people with learning disabilities.
