ELTC Drop-in Communication Hub Schedule

Off

Semester 1 2026/27

Drop-in communication hubs will run from week 5 (Monday 26th October 2026) to week 12 (Friday 18th December 2026) then from week 13 (Monday 18th January 2027) to week 15 (Friday 5th February 2027)

Please come with any work that you would like the tutor to look at, or questions that you may want them to answer, or access to blackboard documents if relevant. These drop-in hubs are for academic communication issues (e.g. being critical in your work, building your academic argument, synthesis of sources).  You do not need to stay for the whole time slot, just turn up, sign in and the tutor will work with you when you get to the top of the list.

This is not a proofreading service, but an opportunity to get 1:1 feedback on your work (spoken or written).

We will not look at:

  • Managing your workload and beating procrastination
  • Exam revision strategies and exam techniques
  • Working effectively with a project or dissertation supervisor, or your academic tutor

Please book a 1:1 study skills appointment for these topics.
