PhD student Ibrahim Althomali, Professor Phil McMinn of the Department – along with their US-collaborator Professor Gregory Kapfhammer – were awarded an IEEE distinguished paper award for their paper entitled "Automatic Visual Verification of Layout Failures in Responsively Designed Web Pages". The paper was presented by Ibrahim at the International Conference on Software Testing, Verification and Validation, in Xi'an, China, in April.
