We have a range of ways to engage with industrial partners depending on the timescales and nature of the funding. These might start with short consultancy projects that use specialist equipment or expertise within the School. Our undergraduate students undertake a number of solo and group projects during their studies and we welcome projects proposed and co-supervised by industry. We have many industrially funded or co-funded PhD student projects with a duration of 3.5 to 4 years to engage in long-term strategic research. We are also ideal partners in any IUK, EU, and EPSRC funded consortia. We also have a range of long term strategic partnerships with select industrial organisations that develop more intimate relationships.
