A new award recognising the strength and impact of the UK’s AI research, has been awarded to academics at the University of Sheffield.

Sheffield scientists sequence over 1,000 Covid-19 genomes to aid pandemic response

Dr Dennis Wang is part of a team who have now produced over 1,000 sequences of the coronavirus genome. The work has been done by scientists and clinicians from the University of Sheffield and Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
