Free formal wear from The Suit Works

If you are worried about being able to afford formal clothing and have an upcoming job interview, assessment centre, or new job starting soon, you can now get a free referral to The Suit Works, a Sheffield non-profit organisation that offers free outfits from their huge range of pre-loved formal wear, with clothes for all shapes, sizes, and styles.

All you need to do is drop into the Employability & Placements Hub in the Students' Union, where our staff will help you with your referral.

We have a wide-ranging, ever-changing wardrobe of clothes.  All our clothing is by donation and is mostly gently pre-loved. We do, however, ensure that everything is clean, beautiful and in excellent condition. We want you to walk out of that door looking fantastic and feeling super confident.

The team at The Suit Works provides a welcoming, friendly environment where clients come in for a styling session and are given a suitable outfit for their interview, as well as some thoughtful advice.

An appointment at The Suit Works lasts for about an hour, and the team helps you find clothing that fits well and looks great, as well as the right accessories. The service is free, and you get to keep the clothes.
