Join us on Wednesday, 22 April 2026, 12-3 pm in the Octagon, for the 2026 Spring Careers Fair to meet employers from over 50 organisations, discover your career options, and find your next job opportunity!
What to expect
Employers in a range of sectors will be attending and looking to recruit for placements, graduate jobs, and internships across a wide range of roles, many of which are open to students from any discipline.
Many of the attending employers are offering job opportunities in Sheffield and within an hour’s commute of Sheffield. Find out more about regional opportunities and the range of employers, big and small, based in and around Sheffield.

In addition to the employers who will be joining us, you will also have the opportunity to meet and learn more from:
- The University of Sheffield HR team, about graduate job opportunities at the University;
- The University of Sheffield Postgraduate Study team, about PGT study opportunities at Sheffield, including an upcoming PGT Open Day, scholarships, and alumni discounts;
- Emerge: Be Enterprising, the University’s entrepreneurship and innovation team, supporting our student community in their entrepreneurial endeavours;
- English Language Teaching Centre, to hear more about a career in English Language teaching and available qualifications.
If you’d like to take a sensory break during the Fairs, visit the Quiet Room, located downstairs in the Council Chamber. If you’d like to attend the Fairs during a quieter and less busy time, you can visit the Octagon between 2:30 and 3 pm when there are typically fewer visitors. We will be there to help and support you throughout the event.
