Lizanne was drawn to the Molecular Biology and Biotechnology MSc as she wanted more advanced training in molecular techniques and their applications. During the course, she learnt how to plan experiments, troubleshoot when things didn’t go as expected, and think critically about data.

Daniel completed his MSc project at the Sheffield Institute for Translational Neuroscience (SITraN), focusing on the development of new viral gene therapies for neurodevelopmental disorders. He’s excited to be continuing this work as he embarks on a PhD in Gene Therapy and Translational Neuroscience at the institute.
