If you're a Canada resident you can donate from Canada now – and you may claim a tax credit for donations made to the University.

We are a Prescribed University and we will provide the appropriate receipt (via letter) that is acceptable to the Canada Revenue Agency. (NB Please do not tick the Gift Aid box, as this is only relevant to UK taxpayers.)
Giving from Hong Kong
The University of Sheffield has partnered with the Chapel & York Hong Kong Foundation to accept donations for our benefit. Simply choose 'University of Sheffield' on the drop-down to make your gift.

The link above will take you to the donation page for the Chapel & York Hong Kong Foundation, please note that Chapel & York charge a 1% fee deduction for each donation received. This partnership allows us to save on the costs required to operate our own dedicated entity while still providing you the opportunity to support the University of Sheffield with tax-effective donations.
You may prefer to donate by bank/wire transfer to avoid an additional card processing fee and to maximise the impact of your donation. To do this, please complete the bank/wire transfer section on the Chapel and York donations page and select 'University of Sheffield'.
Giving from Europe
If you are a resident of a European country, it may be possible to give a tax efficient donation to the University of Sheffield. The donation would be made through Transnational Giving Europe (TGE). The University is currently registered through TGE to accept donations from:
- France
- Germany
- Greece
- Spain
Please see the full list of countries on the TGE website for those that may be eligible. To make your gift, please contact the partner foundation in the country of your residence.
For other European countries, you can still donate directly to the University of Sheffield but your donation may not be tax deductible.
