Zheng Yuan is a Senior Lecturer (Associate Professor) in Natural Language Processing (NLP) in the School of Computer Science at the University of Sheffield. Zheng is working on machine learning for natural language processing, including real-world applications in education, creativity, healthcare, social media, and finance. Before joining Sheffield, Zheng was a Lecturer in the Department of Informatics at King's College London, a Research Associate in the Department of Computer Science and Technology at the University of Cambridge, and a Fellow in Computer Science at Trinity College (Cambridge). Zheng holds a PhD in Natural Language Processing and an MPhil in Advanced Computer Science from the University of Cambridge, as well as a BSc(Eng) from Queen Mary University of London.
