Research Methods and Methodological Innovations (ReMMI)
The Research Methods and Methodological Innovations (ReMMI) cluster supports research excellence in the School of Education through co-learning, methods mentorship and methodological scholarship activities.
About our work
The Research Methods and Methodological Innovations (ReMMI) cluster has an interdisciplinary membership with wide-ranging methods expertise. Mobilising the knowledge located across the School of Education this cluster supports advanced qualitive, quantitative and mixed methods scholarship.
The cluster has particular strengths in critical methodologies, creative methods, participatory research approaches and advanced statistical methods, like multilevel modelling and age-period-cohort-analysis. The ReMMI cluster acts as a resource to support research capacity in the School of Education through skills sharing, methods mentorship and dedicated scholarship time, like writing retreats.
Our primary aims are: (1) to foster a collegiate space to share methodological expertise (2) to generate opportunities to enhance our own and others methodological work, and (3) to enhance the profile of the School of Education as a site of methodological innovation and excellence.
