Description
If you are 21 or over, and are interested in finding out about studying for an undergraduate degree as a mature student, join us at our open evening event.
What is it?
A drop in event featuring a series of short talks and information stalls. Staff will be available from all University faculties and a wide range of University support services. Refreshments will be provided.
The programme of talks for the evening has now been confirmed and is outlined below:

Who is it for?
Anyone 21 or over who would like information on studying for an undergraduate degree at the University of Sheffield.
The event will include:
- An opportunity to meet current mature students
- Information about our exciting range of full and part-time courses
- Guidance on how to apply for a University course
- Overview of support for mature students
- Information on student finance
- Foundation years and other entry routes explained
- An opportunity to ask questions to staff and students
The University of Sheffield offers a wide range of full and part time degree courses for mature students, and lack of traditional entry qualifications is no barrier to entry.
If you are travelling to our event via car or public transport, you may be eligible for the University's Access Travel Bursary.
