- Charlotte McGuigan (Law and Criminology student) for the Future Lawyer of the Year award
- Hollie Wilson (Structural Engineering and Architecture student) for the Female Undergraduate of the Year award

Schemes like “Undergraduate of the Year” give our students a platform to showcase the amazing things they get up to on a daily basis. To be in that room as a shortlisted finalist, not only did you have to stand out amongst the top 2.5% of applicants but you had to have demonstrated considerable amounts of creativity, resilience, curiosity and citizenship. All key attributes identified by the employer partners as essential for an early career professional and all attributes our shortlisted finalists possess.

Representing the university amongst hundreds of other finalist students from other institutions, they were shortlisted for their ambition, the complexity and well-roundedness of their skills, their resilience and adaptability, and their leadership qualities. We congratulate them on their ambition and success!
