The BNBR Life Centre at the University of Sheffield is here for students of any faith, any religion, or none. We support your student journey, from open day to graduation.
Listening support from the BNBR Life Centre
The BNBR Life Centre offers a non-judgemental listening ear service, via a one to one conversation appointment.
If you want listening support, you can book in by emailing bnbr-life@sheffield.ac.uk . Appointments are usually available within 3 to 5 days of requesting.
If you want to drop in and see a chaplain, there is usually someone around between 10am and 3pm Monday to Friday during semester times.
BNBR Life Centre facilities on campus
The BNBR Life Centre is open 9am-5pm Monday to Thursday and 9am-3pm on Friday during semester times.
We warmly welcome people to visit us. We have a variety of spaces spread across two floors, including a spacious lounge where you can enjoy a free drink and sweet treat!
We also have study spaces, wellbeing spaces, showers, a piano to play and a variety of games.
Student Faith Societies (registered with the Students’ Union) are welcome to book our spaces for meetings and events.
Muslim Prayer Rooms are situated in the Students’ Union, Information Commons, Diamond, George Porter, Firth Court, and inside the AMRC. Please see here for more information.
