Description
The Heritage Circle recognises the generous commitment of those wanting to leave a lasting legacy by making a gift in their Will to the University of Sheffield.
This special event is our opportunity to say thank you for your continued and planned support.
There will be a behind-the-scenes look at the University's latest developments from senior staff. After lunch, you’ll hear about two exciting projects that are making an impact in very different ways.
• Breaking Barriers: Increasing Underrepresented Student Enrolment
Heather MacLeod Jones will share insights on how we're breaking down barriers and creating a more inclusive Sheffield. You’ll learn about our innovative approach to closing the gap in higher education by providing sustained support at every stage of a student's journey.
• The Fight Against Infection
Join Professor Thushan de Silva and Professor Graham Stafford as they discuss The Florey Institute's revolutionary approach to fighting infectious diseases. Learn how our experts are transforming healthcare through ground breaking research and collaboration.
If you're thinking of leaving a donation in your Will, or have already pledged, and haven't received an invitation please contact Dave Meadows at d.meadows@sheffield.ac.uk or call 0114 222 1073.
