Description

The Heritage Circle recognises the generous commitment of those wanting to leave a lasting legacy by making a gift in their Will to the University of Sheffield.

This special event is our opportunity to say thank you for your continued support.

There will be a behind-the-scenes look at the University's latest developments from senior staff. After lunch, you’ll hear about the exciting projects that are making an impact across the world in very different ways.

From Code to Cure: How AI and Digital Innovation are Transforming Cancer Research and Dental Education

Join Professors Ali Khurram and Dan Lambert for a unique look at how cutting-edge technologies are shaping the future of education and research at Sheffield. You'll learn how artificial intelligence is being used in the fight against cancer, offering new ways to study cells and personalise treatments.

You'll also find out how augmented reality and 3D printing are revolutionising dental education. This is your chance to see how these innovations could ultimately improve care for patients everywhere.

Emerge: Inspiring the Next Generation of Entrepreneurs

Hear from Matt Charlton about the University's programme of support for aspiring entrepreneurs. Now in its third year, Emerge empowers students and graduates to build their skills, develop ideas, and launch exciting new ventures across the region. Matt will share key insights and case studies from some of the innovative businesses that are now flourishing thanks to the support they’ve received.

If you're thinking of leaving a donation in your Will, or have already pledged, and haven't received an invitation please contact Dave Meadows at d.meadows@sheffield.ac.uk or call 0114 222 1073.
