Research interests

Lauren's research explores the relationship between Parliament, the actors within and citizens, with specific focus on the UK Parliament. Her PhD was primarily focused on the experiences of campaigners who utilised the joint UK Government and House of Commons e-petition system, but her current focus is on the intersection of formal rules and informal norms in shaping the relationship between various actors within and adjacent to parliament.

She is the Treasurer and Membership Officer for the Political Studies Association's Parliaments specialist group.
