Welcome Week runs from Monday 22 to Friday 26 September. There are no formal classes during this time, but it’s a great opportunity to meet your fellow students, to join a club or society, and for us to give you all the information you need before teaching starts. We’d like to draw your attention to mandatory events taking place during this week:

 Preparing for your studies with Blackboard 

To help you to prepare for your studies, the “SMPH Campus Programmes Blackboard Home” resource is now live and ready for you to access. This is your online study support resource which  contains valuable information about your course, the School and the wider University. The good news is, it's interactive!

You can introduce yourself to the SMPH staff who will shape your studies and your fellow students via the discussion board. 

A team of academic staff, programme administrators and learning technologists will be monitoring this resource over the coming weeks so please do get involved!

Key information including how to access your programme timetable and other news updates will appear from time to time.

Once you have completed your registration, follow the steps below to access the online resource:

  1. Sign in to MUSE with your University username and password
  2. Click on the Blackboard link at the top
  3. Click on ‘Courses’ on the left-hand menu and find the link to “SMPH Campus Programmes Blackboard Home
