Katie Hullock

I joined SCHARR in April 2022 as a Research Assistant in the Clinical Trials Research Unit (CTRU), before progressing to Research Associate in May 2024. I am currently based in the Mental Health Research Unit, working on the Complex Emotions Hub.

The Complex Emotions Hub is part of a UKRI funded mental health platform and aims to improve understanding and care for people living with complex emotions, particularly those associated with borderline personality disorder (BPD), emotionally unstable personality disorder (EUPD), and complex post-traumatic stress disorder (C-PTSD).

Prior to joining SCHARR, I worked in a range of roles across the NHS, gaining experience across multiple clinical specialties, including virology, infectious diseases and tropical medicine, and oncology.
