Following a masters in Librarianship at The University of Sheffield, I joined ScHARR initially as a temporary research assistant on the Trent Evaluation project on library and information services for NHS staff. I subsequently became an Information Specialist in the Health Economics and Decision Science (HEDS) section.
In 2022, I became a Research Fellow and the Professional Learning Lead.

I am a member of the Chartered Institute of Library and Information Professionals (CILIP): the Library and information association. I am the Review Editor of the Health Information and Libraries Journal (HILJ).
I am also the co-founder and a co-editor of the Systematic Review Toolbox, an online catalogue of tools that support various tasks within the systematic review and wider evidence synthesis process.
