We are delighted to announce that the 10th UK Patient Reported Outcome Measures (PROMs) Conference will be hosted in Sheffield on Tuesday 23 June 2026.

Now in its tenth year, the UK PROMs Conference brings together researchers, clinicians, patients, policymakers, and industry partners to share the latest developments in the field of patient-reported outcome measurement. Over the past decade, this conference has become a cornerstone for advancing best practice and innovation in how patient experiences and outcomes are measured and used to improve care.

The 2026 conference will provide an opportunity to reflect on progress across the past decade and to explore what lies ahead for PROMs in clinical practice, health policy, and research. Delegates can expect a full day of engaging keynote presentations, panel discussions, and poster sessions, with contributions from leading experts.

Key themes for 2026 will include:

  • The evolving role of PROMs in healthcare and service improvement
  • Methodological advances and innovations in PROM design and analysis
  • Patient and public involvement in the development and use of PROMs
  • PROMs in digital health and real-world data contexts
  • Lessons learned and future directions from 10 years of UK PROMs

Further details, including registration and programme updates, will be announced soon.

We are also running a new short course called Developing Patient-Reported Outcome Measures (PROMs): A Practical One-Day Course (face-to-face) on Monday 22nd June 2026.  Please click on the link for more details.

Bookings are now open!  If you can't make this date, please  register your interest here and we will be in touch when the course runs again.

Join us in Sheffield as we celebrate a decade of collaboration, learning, and innovation in patient-reported outcomes - and look ahead to the future of PROMs research and practice.
