Joanne started work with the University of Sheffield in 2001 and came to ScHARR in September 2003 to work on the UWAIT Study within the Health Services Research section. Since then she has worked on various studies all within this unit.
Joanne is the Administrator of the Centre for Urgent and Emergency Care Research (CURE) https://www.sheffield.ac.uk/cure group along with providing administrative support to the following projects:
NIHR ARC Project – Professor Sue Mason
Reshape Project – Professor Chris Burton
SDEC Project – Professor Sue Mason & Dr Richard Jacques
Longlies Project - Professor Fiona Sampson
WISH Project – Professor Scott Weich & Professor Alan Brenan
Joanne is also PA to Professor Fiona Lecky, Clinical Professor of Emergency Medicine Honorary Consultant in Emergency Medicine at Salford Royal Hospital and who also holds an Honorary Chair as Research Director of the National Major Trauma Registry (NMTR) at the University of Manchester and Research Professor of the Humanitarian Conflict Response Institute (HCRI).
Joanne also supports smaller projects and research fellowships along with diary management for Professor Suzanne Mason, Professor Steve Goodacre
