- Profile

I am a Registered Nurse and Qualitative Researcher often responsible for the qualitative research on NIHR grants in collaboration with the NHS. My clinical background and knowledge, in addition to my experience of working with patients and other healthcare professionals within the NHS, means that I bring specialist insight into the research studies I work on.
I am currently joint Lead Investigator on an £250k NIHR funded study (CARE), in addition to leading the qualitative research for a work package that is part of a five year £2.5million NIHR funded Programme Grant (Fit4HeartOp).
My previous roles include PPI and Work Stream Lead and qualitative associate for a study to improve the quality of care for men with Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm (PCAAAS). I have worked as a qualitative researcher on multiple studies including: the NIHR funded RCT STOP-OHSS - Shaping an Trialling Outpatient Protocols for Ovarian Hyperstimulation Syndrome; the Wakefield District Housing Support Evaluation Project (WHoSE); and two different NIHR funded research programme grants - ACtiF - Development and evaluation of an intervention to support adherence to nebuliser treatment in adults with Cystic Fibrosis; and the NIHR Vascular Services Programme Grant.
