Sound and Motion Capture Lab

Kroto Research Building
Off

Sheffield Robotics have taken over the management and maintenance of the Brains on Board project Lab in the Kroto Research Institute.

The facility has become flexible space for research into both robotics and speech and language technology. The ~60m2 lab includes a 24-camera VICON motion capture system, microphone array, and a separate control room with viewing window for running experiments.

The space is suitable for small drones and ground vehicles.

If you require space in the Sound and Motion Capture Lab, please contact James Law or Anthony Whelpton to discuss requirements in the first instance.
