Shenglin Wang is a Ph.D student, supervised by Prof. Lyudmila Mihaylova with the Department of Automatic Control and Systems Engineering, the University of Sheffield. He receives his M.Sc. degree in Robotics from the University of Sheffield in 2019. He obtained his B.Sc. in Telecommunication Engineering with Management at Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications.
Shenglin is working closely with Dr. Peng Wang and Prof. Lyudmila Mihaylova on sensing and detection in human-robot collaborative in the CSI: Cobot project. He aims to develop a deep learning based framework to detect both operators and robots to achieve a safe working environment for operators.
