This fantastic achievement for the School of Mechanical, Aerospace and Civil Engineering follows on from recent success in the National Student Survey, and reinforces the School's reputation for providing a world-class engineering education.
Aerospace Engineering has secured an outstanding 2nd place in this year’s guide. Mechanical Engineering landed an impressive 4th place, and Civil Engineering achieved a very solid 6th place. These rankings prove the School’s consistent excellence across the board.

The Guardian University Guide is a highly respected league table for UK universities. It evaluates institutions based on various criteria, including student satisfaction scores for courses, teaching, and feedback, as well as the proportion of graduates who are in employment or further study 15 months after graduation.
This success is also shared across the wider Faculty of Engineering at Sheffield, confirming its status as one of the best in the country.
