Mechanical Engineering student led offer holder day campus tours
Mechanical Engineering sessions are fully booked for Saturdays 21 February and 7th and 28th March. If you would still like to visit on this date, we are offering bookable 60-minute campus tours delivered by a Mechanical Engineering student ambassador.
Where to go on arrival
You will have booked to attend a 60 minute campus tour at 11am or 2pm on your offer holder day.
Your arrival location is: Campus tour gazebo, on the Students’ Union concourse
Please arrive in good time as we'll need to scan the QR code from your booking to register you. If you arrive late for your booked session, please still report to the campus tour stand on the Students’ Union concourse where event staff will be able to help.
When booking, you'll be able to reserve a place for yourself and one guest on the tour. To ensure manageable group sizes and safe venue capacities, we will be unable to accommodate any additional visitors. However, you're welcome to bring additional guests to accompany you on the day and we would encourage these guests to take part in our range of University exhibitions and tours whilst the Mechanical Engineering led tour is running.
Science and Engineering Foundation Year
If you are holding an offer for one of our courses with a Foundation Year, there will be an optional talk where you can find out more and ask any questions. The morning session will take place in Lecture Theatre 8 in The Diamond from 11.30am to 12.30pm. The afternoon session will be held in Lecture Theatre 8 in The Diamond from 1.30pm to 2.30pm.
Making the most of your Offer Holder Day
Our offer holder days are designed as a full day experience with a range of activities available to help you get a feel for both your subject and the University. As well as attending the Mechanical Engineering student led campus tour, we recommend spending the rest of your day visiting our accommodation, attending other tours and visiting our exhibitions.
