While you’re always welcome in University sports, Trans Active is a great trans+ specific company that organises sports for trans+ people in and around Sheffield, such as swimming and climbing.
Rainbow Owls is the independent and officially recognised LGBT+ supporters’ group for Sheffield Wednesday Football Club, and Rainbow Blades is the official LGBT+ and allies supporters’ group for Sheffield United Football Club.
Sheffield Vulcans run LGBTQ+ inclusive rugby in Sheffield.
The Sheffield and Hallamshire County Football Association run a Rainbow Laces campaign every year in support of LGBT+ inclusion in sport .
