You will be split into three groups and carousel around 3 x taster activities, including:

  • TV/Radio Bulletin activity - have a go at recording your own television bulletin in our state-of-the-art broadcast studio.
  • Press conference taster activity.
  • Student Ambassador Q&A - this is your opportunity to ask current students any burning questions you may have about the course or university life.

Parents/supporters can attend all activities and see the facilities in action, aside from the TV/Radio bulletin activity as the capacity in the broadcast studio is limited. During this time, they are welcome to attend a journalism-specific parents/supporters’ drop-in Q&A in Lecture Theatre 4.

Parents and supporters

Your guests are welcome to come to most of the activities with you so they can see our facilities in action. They will have the chance to attend the press conference activity, get involved with the student ambassador Q&A and speak with our course leaders and senior academics, who will be on-hand to answer any queries they might have.
