Dr Yu-Tung Wu (he/him)

Dr Yu-Tung Wu is an ESRC Postdoctoral Research Associate specialising in housing financialisation and urbanisation, with a focus on war-displaced immigrants in Taiwan and their housing "Military Dependents’ Villages" (MDVs). He completed his PhD in urban studies and planning at the University of Sheffield, supervised by Professor Ryan Powell and Professor Stephen Hincks. He completed his undergraduate in 2018 in urban planning at National Cheng Kung University, Taiwan, and was awarded the degree of MSc in Cities and Global Development by the University of Sheffield in 2020.
