EDU - Postgraduate Open Day

Event details

Description

Are you interested in finding out about returning to education as a mature student?

The University of Sheffield offers a wide range of degrees with a foundation year for mature students who don't have the standard university entry qualifications. So why not come along to our Mature Student Taster Event and find out more about what studying as a mature student with us might be like?

Join us on Tuesday 28th January 2025, 10am to 1:30pm.

What is it?

There will be short talks covering topics such as our courses, funding your studies, the support available for mature students, and how to apply to study with us. Followed by a selection of subject taster sessions and activities that will give you an insight into what it's like to study at university.

Refreshments will be provided and there will be an optional university campus tour with our current mature student ambassador team.

Staff and students from our Lifelong Learning team will be available throughout the event to answer any questions you have about studying with us.

Who is it for?

Anyone 21 or over, without standard university entry qualifications, who would like information on studying for a degree with a foundation year at the University of Sheffield.
