Laiba Waheed

Laiba Waheed is a Research Assistant in Telecom Security and Caller-ID Verification. She holds a master’s degree in cybersecurity. Her research involves post-quantum cryptography, machine learning, and network/communication security and is mainly focused around investigating weaknesses of current implementations of post-quantum cryptography algorithms and building quantum-safe systems. She works across applied cryptography, telecom security, Voice over IP (VoIP) security, and machine learning. She has practical experience in developing software prototypes and designing secure systems. She is involved in the development and implementation of secure communication protocols and cryptographic solutions for caller authentication within the SecureCall project.
