Dr Ben McCanna

I am a University Teacher in the School of Computer Science. Before joining the University of Sheffield I spent 12 years at the University of Birmingham, where I obtained an undergraduate master's degree and a PhD in Theoretical Physics. I then worked as a Teaching Fellow in the School of Computer Science there before joining the University of Sheffield in September 2025.
