Gideon Lowes

I am a 2013 Structural Engineering with Architecture Graduate who has worked in a variety of roles within Bridge Engineering. I have a wide range of experience in both highway and rail sectors, including new design, modification, assessment and inspection. Notable projects include Forder Valley Interchange Viaduct, a 140m integral highway bridge which is part of an award winning scheme, and Network Rail CAFA structural assessments.

As a former Sheffield Student, I have an understanding of the Civil Engineering courses on offer, and I bring insight of the skills and knowledge required of Graduates within the Transportation Sector. My aims are to improve awareness of AECOM, one of the largest global Engineering firms ranked #1 in transportation design by Engineering News Record, and help shape the future Engineering Graduates as the industry increasingly switches from building new projects to maintaining and maximising the value of existing assets.
