From beautician to neuroscientist: a remarkable PhD journey

Despite competing internationally as a beautician in her teens, Laura Ellis suspected it wasn't her true calling. With support from the Mel Evans Foundation, she's now a second-year PhD studying motor neuron disease (MND) at SITraN.
