A graduate of the University of Sheffield with a degree in Economics, Accounting and Financial Management, Mark is co-founder and Vice-Chairman of global infrastructure investment firm Antin Infrastructure Partners, was recognised for his longstanding commitment to widening participation and supporting social mobility through education.
Mark has become a prominent advocate for improving access to opportunity through education and targeted support programmes.
Mark’s support for social mobility extends to Sheffield, where he has funded initiatives designed to help students from underrepresented backgrounds access professional careers, such as the Susan Crosbie Leaders in Law programme, Susan Crosbie Scholarships, alongside their £3 million donation to SITraN.
Mark founded the Susan Crosbie Leaders in Law Programme in memory of his sister, alumna Susan Crosbie (Law, 1987).
The Leaders in Law programme provides access scholarships, employability grants, career coaching and work placement opportunities for aspiring law students. His philanthropy has also supported widening participation activity, including summer schools that help young people explore higher education and build confidence about their future.
His support reflects the University of Sheffield’s long-standing commitment to widening participation and ensuring talented students can thrive regardless of background.
