- Profile
-
Holly is an interdisciplinary PhD researcher whose work addresses the challenge of chemical pollution in urban environments. She is funded by the ECOSOLUTIONS Doctoral Training Partnership (NERC) and is a Grantham Scholar in cohort 12 of the Sustainability Leaders Training Programme.
Her work examines how environmental regulation is designed and implemented across different governance contexts, with particular attention to the limitations of policy silos in addressing complex and cross cutting chemical risks. Adopting a systems approach, she explores how interactions between multiple chemicals, and their sources across both domestic and industrial settings, can be better understood to inform more effective and integrated policy interventions.
