Please give a brief overview of your career path since graduation and your current role/responsibilities:
Since graduating in 2019 I went onto work as a clinician in Greece with Medical Volunteers International in Greece in 2020. I then joined CADUS and deployed to Iraq and Northeast Syria as a clinician in 2021. The following year I was asked to return as their medical coordinator managing projects in Iraq and Northeast Syria in 2022. I remained with CADUS and went to Ukraine with them as a first aid trainer.
In 2024 I deployed twice to Gaza . Once with CADUS as their head of mission and then with UK-MED as their manager for a field hospital. At the end of 2024 I became the Health Director for CADUS which is a classified WHO emergency medicine team. Over this time I have received a British Empire Medal as part of the Queen's 2020 Birthday Honours and became the youngest faculty chair in the history of The Royal College of General Practitioners.
