Lucy Carr

I joined the University in November 2011 and currently work in the Clinical Trials Research Unit (CTRU) as the CTRU Manager. I provide administrative and financial management support to the CTRU through leadership of an administrative team. I work with senior academic staff to support the development of costing algorithms for studies, managing support to proposal developers in costing individual study proposals and obtaining approval for costings. I also have responsibility for financial monitoring of CTRU income and expenditure, working with ScHARR finance colleagues and I manage the study management, administrative and research assistant resource requirements for all CTRU grants.

I have worked in various administrative roles for 16 years and previously worked for in the NHS providing support for the commissioning of services within primary care.
