I work on public health modelling projects on a range of non-communicable diseases, including diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and cancer. Since joining ScHARR, I have been involved in the following projects:
- Modelling the return on investment of the NHS Diabetes Prevention programme using an adaptation of the School for Public Health Research Diabetes Prevention Model.
- An alongside-trial economic evaluation and a modelling study for the Health Technology Assessment of the PROPELS randomised control trial, which aimed to reduce the risk of diabetes by increasing physical activity.
- Estimating the maximum justifiable cost of a personalised prevention plan for CVD for the CoroPrevention randomised control trial.
- Systematic review of the cost-effectiveness of transcatheter aortic valve implantation.
I am currently involved in consultancy projects relating to bowel and prostate cancer.

I teach on the Advanced Simulation module (HAR627) on the MSc HEDM course, and two modules on Phase 1 MBChB: Study Design and Evidence Synthesis and Communicating Health Information.
