Professor Adewale Adebajo, a Consultation Rheumatologist and Clinical Director at Barnsley NHS Foundation Trust, and previous Associate Director of Teaching at the University of Sheffield has been recognised with an MBE - Member of the Order of the British Empire - for his services to promoting inclusive patient, and public involvement in health research.
Through his work with the School of Health and Related Research, Professor Adebajo has made important contributions to health services research focussing on musculoskeletal conditions worked with ScHARR colleagues within CATCH. He has also made valuable contributions to curriculum development and admissions at the University of Sheffield, Medical School.
