Our researchers are leading the UK strand of an international consortium exploring how AI can help with homecare amid the persistent problem of workforce shortages.

Audit Reform Lab reveals scale of audit failure

Reflecting the School’s focus on socially responsible management, our research reveals that auditors failed to provide 'going concern' warnings for 75% of major UK company collapses between 2010 and 2022.

Energy efficient waste collections

Our work with Sheffield City Council and Veolia to create a new approach to modelling fleet vehicle energy use has shown it would be possible to run Sheffield’s entire refuse collection rounds on purely electric vehicles.
