About the researcher

Lu Yu is a PhD student at the Sheffield School of Management. Her research interests mainly include sustainable fashion, sustainable consumption and communication, and digital fashion. Her recent research focuses on the sustainability of the Chinese fashion industry and examines corporate sustainability practices and sustainable consumption through the lens of social theory and marketing. With an interdisciplinary background with an undergraduate degree in Engineering and dual Masters in Engineering and Science, she has developed a strong interest in sustainability issues in fashion businesses and is committed to researching the Chinese market.
