Profile

Dr. Chenyue Qi is a Lecturer in Marketing at Sheffield University Management School, University of Sheffield. She holds a PhD in Management from Trinity college Dublin.

Chenyue’s research interests lie at the intersection of digital marketing and strategic marketing management. She has a particular interest in social media marketing, new product development, open innovation, and sustainability. Her research has been published in ABS journals, including Journal of Business Research, European Journal of Marketing, Journal of Consumer Behaviour, and Journal of Consumer Affairs. Her work has also been presented at leading conferences, including the European Marketing Academy (EMAC), the European Academy of Management (EURAM), the Global Marketing Conference (GMC), the World Open Innovation Conference (WOIC), and the Irish Academy of Management (IAM).

Teaching interests

Chenyue has experience in delivering research-led teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. She has also implemented technology-enhanced approaches and used simulation games and gamification to create collaborative and experiential learning environments.

PhD Supervision

Chenyue is seeking supervising doctoral students in the areas of digital marketing and strategic marketing management. She would welcome students who would like to research:
