Alumni reunion: Lahore, Pakistan
We have always loved to catch up with our alumni across the world while we're abroad and we're really excited to be on the other side of the pandemic, travelling again!
Our Student Recruitment Manager Mr Asif Naeem enjoyed meeting with some of our valued alumni this month when he visited Lahore, Pakistan.
It was wonderful catching up with old friends and meeting new people!

MSc Management (International Business), Class of 2016
Our Management School colleague Asif spent some quality time with seven of our alumni at The Nishat Hotel in Lahore on Monday 1 May, for an informal gathering over tea and light nibbles. Our alumni across multiple different class years had the chance to reconnect with familiar faces and also to make new relationships with fellow SUMS graduates.
After the event, Mr Naeem said,
"It was great to catch up with some of our alumni in Lahore and find out about our graduates' career paths, from Partner in an investment company to Chief Information Officer at Pepsi NBC Group and everything in between! I have the pleasure of knowing individuals right from the start of their University of Sheffield journey when they are applying for their place, and it makes me really happy to stay in touch and see how much they have achieved after graduation".
We were also really pleased to receive some fantastic feedback from our alumni Mr Junaid Ali and Mr Ahmad Kamal Butt after the alumni gathering. It was a lively occasion and several of our alumni attendees met each other for the first time, exchanging stories of their time at Sheffield and where their careers have led. Next time you receive an invite to your local alumni reunion, it could just be the ideal opportunity to grow your network!
It was a great opportunity to connect with fellow Sheffield students and share working experience after the education
