Mini Pitch Winter Showcase

Please join us for our Sheffield Robotics Winter Showcase event on Wednesday 11th December 2024 

Are you a UG, MSc or PhD student at University of Sheffield undertaking projects in robotics? If so, we would like to give you the opportunity to showcase your work to our Sheffield Robotics community.

The showcase involves informal 3 minute mini pitch presentations  discussing your research, results or upcoming work (max. 3 slides including the intro slide).  NB. it does NOT have to be completed projects. We encourage talks on failures as well as successes!

Awards for Best poster; Best presentation; Best Innovation; Best lesson learned from failure.

To sign up to give a mini pitch please register via the google form below, alternatively if you would like to come along to discover what exciting research our Phd students, PDRAs and Staff are up to please complete the Attendee Registration form below.

Note: Staff and PDRAs are welcome to present. 

Due to financial restrictions, no lunch or refreshments will be provided but you are welcome to bring your own.

We would also like to invite you to join us for Christmas drinks and food at Sheffield Plate in Orchard Square from 17.00, please note this will be self-funded.

NB: Deadline for the pitch abstract: Wednesday 4th December 2024, this will be included in the programme.
