Description

You are warmly invited to Harnessing AI for Entrepreneurial Success, an in-person seminar taking place on Wednesday 29 April, 1:00–2:30pm in Lecture Theatre 09, The Diamond.

Organised by the Centre for Machine Intelligence in collaboration with the University Commercialisation Team, this seminar will bring together two invited speakers who will share perspectives on how artificial intelligence is shaping products, services, and new business opportunities. The session will explore how AI is transforming the development of software and hardware, how it can accelerate innovation and decision-making, and what researchers and founders should consider when moving from ideas and prototypes to real-world impact.

We are delighted to welcome Matt Evans, CEO and co-founder of EarthSavvy, who has extensive experience creating, scaling, and running digital and AI-enabled businesses. He will discuss how AI is reshaping software, hardware, infrastructure, and commercial opportunities in a fast-moving market.

We are also pleased to welcome Peter Evans, CEO of Orderly and an Entrepreneur in Residence supporting university spinouts. He will explore how AI can accelerate entrepreneurship and product development, improve decision-making, and help turn research and prototypes into deployable, revenue-generating products.

The seminar is designed for researchers, innovators, and anyone interested in understanding how AI can support entrepreneurial activity and commercialisation.

As this is an in-person event, please register so that we can manage attendance.
