Saturday 11 July 2026 - 9:00am to 4:00pm
Description
Note: This workshop is held on a Saturday.
Join NVIDIA, the University of Sheffield Centre for Machine Intelligence (CMI) and Research Software Engineering (RSE), and the N8 consortium for the “Building Practical AI Agents Using Claw: Hands-On Workshop”. This one-day workshop introduces participants to AI agents using Claw through a practical mix of short talks, guided setup, hands-on exploration, and open workshop time. Participants will learn how AI agents can use tools, files, APIs, models, and workflows, then use NVIDIA Brev credits to get started quickly.
The day is designed to be practical and collaborative. Participants will work in teams on use cases for research, education, productivity, operations, accessibility, or other real-world workflows, then share their progress in a short show-and-tell session.
What Participants Will Learn
- What AI agents are and why tool-using workflows matter.
- How OpenClaw supports practical agent workflows.
- Where NVIDIA NemoClaw and OpenShell fit into safer agent development.
- How to use NVIDIA Brev to access a development environment quickly.
- How to move from an idea to a simple prototype or workflow.
Participant Notes
