Introduction
This group focuses on AI-driven approaches to address critical challenges in climate change, environmental sustainability, and ecosystem services assessment, advancing Net Zero solutions.
Their research encompasses urban heat island (UHI) mitigation, urban water regulation, energy consumption reduction and biodiversity conservation. By integrating advanced AI techniques, we enhance environmental modelling, extreme climate simulation, and hazard forecasting, ensuring more accurate and efficient solutions.
Beyond developing AI algorithms, we are dedicated to delivering scalable, transferable, and deployable system-level solutions that drive measurable progress toward Net Zero goals, fostering a more sustainable and resilient future for both people and nature.
Research areas
