Profile
Kate is the Administrative Assistant at the Centre for Machine Intelligence, where she handles the operational delivery and day-to-day running of the Centre. Working alongside the Centre Manager, Kate ensures everything operates smoothly behind the scenes by managing a broad range of administrative tasks. Her role includes coordinating major events, maintaining the Centre’s website and social media channels, supporting the Senior Leadership Team, and managing financial administration.
Kate has been with the University of Sheffield for nearly 13 years, building a reputation for providing reliable and versatile support. Before joining the CMI in 2023, she spent over a decade at the NIHR Research Design Service (RDS) Yorkshire and Humber, progressing from Administrative Officer to Business Coordinator. Her extensive experience across the University has given her a practical understanding of the professional services required to keep our centre running effectively.
