Research Project Title: New exhaust gas clean-up systems for combustion of low-carbon fuels in heavy-duty engines
The combustion of ammonia, a carbon-free fuel, in engines has been studied in much more detail than its emissions clean up. This project, sponsored by Eminox, aims to address this gap by investigating how commercial catalyst-based pollution control systems perform with altered exhaust gas mixtures.
